In the second in a series of videos, clinicians, rehab coaches and participants from Calvert Reconnections have talked about the benefits of canoeing and kayaking as part of a personalised rehabilitation programme.
Calvert Reconnections is a neuro-rehabilitation centre for people with Acquired Brain Injury. Based in a specially-adapted residential centre on the outskirts of Keswick in the Lake District, the centre’s expert clinical therapy team combines cognitive and physical rehabilitation with vocational and outdoor activities delivered within a unique non-clinical environment.
The centre prides itself on expanding the horizons of what’s possible with brain injury rehabilitation and is generating widespread interest and referrals.
